Winter 2002 Newsletter


Alexander J. Aber '92 married Livia Quan of Chicago on August 25th, 2001. David Friedberg, '94 is a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Special Operations stationed at Ft. Bragg. He is scheduled to be deployed to 1st Group at Ft. Lewis in Washington. Ilana Garber '95 is in her 2nd year of rabbinical study at the Jewish Theological Seminary. She also works as an Area Manager in 2 residence halls at Barnard, her alma mater. Anne Herzberg '97 graduated from McGill in 2001 and currently works at Jumpstart for Young Children's national office in Boston.

2000's - Christie Shay '01 is attending Boston College.

Melissa Bardfield ‘95, graduated from UVM in 2000 along with her twin brother, Dave. Melissa is living in St. Maarten where she co-hosts a morning talk radio show. Dave is the managing director of a wireless cellular internet group on the Island. Ilana Garber ‘95, graduated from the double degree program at Barnard College and the Jewish Seminary and is now in the Rabbinical School at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Meir Siegel ‘99, has been working in Food Services at Warren Towers, and Boston University dormitory since graduation.

Jennifer Silverstein '91, is living in Watertown, MA. Patrick Gamere '92, graduated from Framingham State in 1997 where he played four years of varsity basketball and was team captain in 1996. He is a producer at Cablevision in Boston/Brookline and he also does some production work for NESN. He recently won a New England Cable Award for producing "Election Watch 2000."




 
Spring 2000 Newsletter

Benjamin Spunt '90, graduated from Wheaton College in 1994 with a degree in English Literature. He learned property management and decided to build a career in Real Estate. He opened Benjamin Realty in Brookline. He is known as the "Friendly Realtor." Jennifer Berkley '92, is a reporter for the Medford Transcript, which is owned by the Community Newspaper Company. She covers education and city politics. Linda Wong '95, currently works at Genzyme Corporation in Cambridge, MA as a Clinical Research Associate. Melissa Bardfield '95, graduated from the University of Vermont class of 2000 with her twin brother David Bardfield '95. They will both be living and working in St. Maarten.




 
Fall 1999 Newsletter

Janine (Gutheil) Agoglia '90, is returning to the Boston area after nearly 10 years in New York. She will begin a Masters program in traditional Chinese medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture. Melita J. Noel '92, is living in San Francisco with her partner Geoff Gibson. She has been teaching and plans to begin a Masters program in Special Education in the fill of 2000. Germaine Li '92, graduated from Swarthmore College in 1997. Jyothis Nagraj '92, is the executive director of the City Year program in Rhode Island, a program designed to steer young adults into community service. Andrew Dean '98, has been awarded the $1,000 Lee) Steffenhagen Jr. scholarship by the University of Michigan Club of Greater Boston.





Spring 1999 Newsletter

Karen Sternfeld '90, completed an MS in Chemical Research at King's College in London this past September. She now lives in Bristol, UK, with her partner, Nicky Henderson and is searching for a job in the environmental sector. Samuel Jacobson '92, reports that he and Jeff Palmer '91 are roommates in Scottsdale, AZ, pursuing their education in the Phoenix area. Ahwat Schlosser '92, is presently a faculty member at Deerfield Academy after graduating from Brown University with a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering. Next year he will be going to medical school and would love to hear from fellow SWSers. Daniel Jensen '98, a freshman at Vassar College, played the role of Ford Dolor in the recent production of Nicky Silver's "The Food Chain."

Linda Wong '91, graduated from Boston University with a Masters in Applied Anatomy and Physiology in 1997. She is currently working as a clinical research associate for Quintiles, Inc. in Boston, MA.





Spring 1998 Newsletter

Ahwat Schlosser '92 graduated from Brown University in 1996. He taught biology at Deerfield Academy and will be going to University of Chicago Medical School. Elizabeth Fletcher '95, a junior at Vassar College, spent the fall semester in Italy as a member of the Boston University Padova Program. Rachel Garland '97, is living in Brookline, MA.





Fall 1997 Newsletter

Judy Soohoo, '90, graduated from Boston College in 1994. She is working as a nurse at New York University Medical Center. Nadav Gal, '96, revently worked as a production assistant on a movie called "Brass Ring." The movie was almost entirely shot in South Boston. Mary Flavin, '96, had a role in the same movie. The movie is expected to be released this fall.
